This reef is about 100 yards off Western Shoals and can only be done by boat. The top of the reef is about 200 yards long and covered with pristine corals & sponges and abundant fish life. Hourglass doesn’t have a mooring so it’s always a “live drop” off the boat. It’s lesser known but a favorite spot for photographers that won’t pass up any opportunity to visit this rich site.
